Busted, I decided to smash my thumb in my truck door about a month ago as I was leaving for the race weekend. That was fun to stuff in my glove and race on... though to be fair it actually didn’t end up being too bad.

I could on sit on my bike holding the rear brake (after my little wooden handle I had stuffed in the rear wheel broke) and crank on the cheater bar so long before I just decided I had brought a knife to a gun fight and it would be best to just show up tomorrow with the proper tools before I managed to come up with a really dumb idea.

‘09 Kawasaki ZX6R. It just turns out my breaker bar wasn’t breaker enough.

The Nissan Titan got hungry, aka I am an idiot and somehow managed to shut my truck door on my thumb about a month ago haha.

I finally just got rid of my black nail, smacked it with a hammer trying to pound a hex socket into a rusty bolt.

Oh but when you get to rip the nail off an that’ll be fun. I remember my sister saw me rip off a big tow nail once. She fainted, it was hilarious.

Hahaha, that is pretty funny. I’ve lost my big toenail twice. It was super creepy the first time. I have a terrible track record of not losing nails.

I finally just got rid of my black big toenail from dropping a crowbar on it a year ago. Also seeing a chain/sprocket swap (520?) makes me miss my cbr1000rr, my “last” bike which got stolen right after I did that swap... and then I got married... and well that was 5 years ago. Ride safe all.

Hmm. Maybe a large friend to sit on the bike while applying a larger breaker bar/cheater pipe? Wheel nuts have been my downfall until I learned about Total Destruction Since I’m Replacing It Anyway methodologies.

I’m hoping not to fall to the total destruction level. The problem is finding a friend to come help right now or else I would have done that already since That seems to be most others peoples solution. The impact gun should knock it out tonight though.

Overnight penetrating oil soak + 1/2” impact was successful! (For reference the impact didn’t have a lot of grunt it was 200 ft-lbs portable electric. An air powered one would have likely zipped it off without the oil no problem)

Ah - good. Of course, repeated low grunt can be as effective as a short high grunt (or at least, that’s what experience and perseverance have taught me. My wheel nuts being the poster child for those experiences.)
